I find buying coffee can be a complicated experience. My supermarket features at least 20 different brands and they all have at least 10 blends each. And usually coffee names don’t tell me anything about the taste I can expect.
So I was really relieved to see the new Melitta line of morning coffees: Melitta up & awake coffee pads.
Not only does it make the selection a bit easier: the names relate to the taste, it also introduces a new type of coffee: the morning coffee, and the new names are fun (at least in the German version. I’m not sure how they will translate them into English to make ‘em as fun.).
Meet the 5 at Melitta up&awake.
How could you simplify your product line to make choices easier for customers? Any good, maybe fun, names you can think of that really do highlight the differences?
